curriculum and Syllabus

The School follows the syllabus of the All India Secondary and Senior Secondary Examination of the Central Board of Secondary Education. The medium of instruction is English and Hindi. Text-books and note-books are available inthe school bookshop.

Admission

Admission to any class if governed by the rule that the student must attain the age of 5 before he/she enter class on in September. A proper birth certificate or transfer certificate must be submitted at the time of admission. In case of interstate Transfer the Certificate must be counter signed by the education authourity of the state concerned.Tow photographs are also required at the time of admission.

a)
Nursery & Preparatory : The entry point is 25% at Nursery level & 75% at Preparatory level. Applica tion forms are available in the month of Feb. for Nur. & Prep. The students are selected under the following categories.
For Nursery i) By draw ii) Siblings iii) Economically weaker section - for those drawing less than Rs. 1000/- per month.

For other classes : Admisssion to other classes is dependent on the availability of seats in the re spective classes. Children are registered for the various classes at the school office in February. At the time of registration they are given the date for admission test and also a copy of the syllabus for the admission test is held in March. The names of the children who qualify in the admission test, are put up onthe school notice board onthe following Saturday. Parents are to see the result personally.

Class 9 & 10 Only children from recognised schools producing certificate of passing class 8/9 and of passing a third language inclass 8 are eligible for the entrance test after registration.

Class 11 Registration opens in March & Provisional admission is given on the basis of marks obtained in the Preboard Exam and an interview held in the school. The admission is confrimed only after the declaration of the Board result subject to the availability of seats.

Value Education

This is an integral part of the training of students in spiritual matters. Morning assembly is held and attendance is compulsory.There is a full-fledged counselling department with career-counsellor and two counsellors to provide guidance to students . Lectures and workshops are held regularly for students, teachers and parents.The motto of the school is 'Live & Let Live' and students are constantly taught to try loving communications and service as a mans of resolving conflicts. Co-operative and tolrance are special means to fulfil the motto.
